The bar chart compares how States permit parents to apply for child care assistance between the 2000-2001 and 2002-2003 plan cycles. Relative to the 2000-2001 Plan Cycle, increasingly States are making it possible for families to apply for child care assistance using the mail, telephone, e-mail, and the Internet.
